Conscious Fashion Recycling Poster

For this school project, I designed an illustration poster promoting sustainable fashion and recycling, aimed at raising awareness about responsible consumption and waste reduction. The poster was created for an event sale, blending artistic expression with an important environmental message.

My Process

Research & Concept Development – I explored topics related to fashion waste, upcycling, and eco-friendly initiatives to develop a visually compelling message.

Illustration & Design – I crafted an engaging composition, using color psychology, textures, and symbolic imagery to emphasize sustainability and conscious consumerism.

Typography & Layout – I carefully selected fonts and layout structures to ensure the message was clear, aesthetically appealing, and effective in communicating the theme.

Print Optimization – I prepared the final artwork for high-quality printing, considering color accuracy, resolution, and material sustainability.

Challenges & Learnings

Communicating a Message Through Visuals – I focused on making the design informative yet visually captivating, ensuring it resonated with the audience.

Balancing Art & Advocacy – Creating an illustration that was both marketable and impactful required careful thought about the tone and style.

Sustainability in Design – Researching the topic deepened my understanding of eco-conscious design principles, including the role of materials and ethical production.
