I’m Ramone, the storyteller behind this blog—I created Travel Adventures in 2014 to share my adventures, but it has evolved into a resource to empower others feel as comfortable in the outdoors as I do, both near my home in Vancouver, and around the world.
The art of expanding horizons, broadening hearts, and painting life’s canvas with the vibrant hues of discovery. One travel at a time.

The Yoho Valley in Yoho National Park is a special place. In the Cree language, “Yoho” is an expression of wonder or awe. It pretty much means “wow!” And while it sounds cheesy, that’s what I kept saying when I spent three days backpacking the Yoho Valley Loop including the Iceline Trail.

Bonavista is one of the oldest towns in Newfoundland. It has lots of history, adorable old buildings, and an iconic lighthouse. It’s also not too far (about 3.5 hours) from St. John’s. I’ve made two separate trips to this area, so I’ve got some great ideas for things to do in Bonavista, Newfoundland.

Semaphore Lakes near Pemberton is a special place. It’s a short and easy hike to three gorgeous alpine lakes with incredible glacier views. And the logging road to get there is 2WD accessible (most of the time). I first hiked to Semaphore Lakes back in 2014.
Embracing a world without limits isn’t about erasing boundaries; it’s about redefining them, shaping them into bridges that lead us to the extraordinary, beckoning us to explore, create, and embrace the boundless expanse of our potential.
